Answer: Deputies are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Sheriff's Office building is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding national holidays.

Answer: Contact the Communications Division at (608)269-6333 and they will put you in contact with an officer on duty.

Answer: Anytime during hours of darkness or there is limited visibility, which is any time that weather conditions limit visibility such that objects on a highway are not clearly discernible at 500 feet from the front of a vehicle.
