2026 Monroe County Conservation Poster Contest
The theme for the 2026 WI Land and Water Conservation Poster Contest was: "Soil. Where it all Begins"

The posters at the bottom were the winners of the local contest level for Monroe County.
A total of 133 posters were submitted to the local contest. Thank you to all that
participated!
The 1st place posters from each grade level moved on from the local level contest to the area level contest (western region), which included posters from Monroe County, Trempealeau County, Jackson County, La Crosse County, Vernon County, Juneau County, and Crawford County.
Sierra Brantner is a 1st place poster winner from the area contest, and her poster will move
onto the state level contest which is held on March 4-6th, 2026, in Wisconsin Dells.
