As a Public Health Strategist, you’ll be right in the mix—connecting with residents, partnering with local leaders, and shaping programs that support healthier lives for everyone in our community. From planning and leading education initiatives to strengthening coalitions and supporting key public health programs, you’ll play a hands-on role in building a healthier future for the people who call our area home.
Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in community health education, public health, epidemiology, environmental health, or a closely related field. One year of professional experience in public health or health promotion is preferred.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to deliver and manage health education and prevention programs that support healthy lifestyles across the community. Focus areas for prevention and education include communicable disease, immunization, maternal and child health, and environmental health. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating health-focused programs, leading coalitions, and engaging with diverse community partners. This is a grant funded position, with funding secured through December 2027.
