Committee Duties:
Utilizing all resources available, evaluate all existing County IT software and infrastructure and identify system deficiencies.
Perform IT systems operations and functionality review and identify opportunities for streamlining operations, creating greater efficiencies and/or cost savings.
Identify partners and resources available to advise, guide and support County IT operations in the most cost effective manner possible.
Make recommendations to the Administrative / Executive Committee for County Information Technology systems and operational improvements, including but not limited to:
Software
Hardware
Infrastructure
Service and Support Contracts
Outsourced Products and Services
IT Policies / Procedures
Make recommendations to the Administrative / Executive Committee regarding identified sources of financing to fund recommended improvements.
To be completed prior to the adoption of the 2011 Monroe County Annual Budget.
